Job summary

qeiest is seeking a QC Piping Inspector in Saudi Arabia to oversee piping fabrication, erection, alignment, and installation in accordance with project specifications and international codes. The role requires strong piping QA/QC knowledge and experience with hydrotesting, NDT coordination, and inspection documentation.

Mandatory certifications include API 570 and API 510, with a diploma or bachelor’s degree and 5–7.5 years of QC experience. Aramco experience and valid passports are required.

Qualifications

• API 570 and API 510 certifications are mandatory.
• Minimum 7.5 years of QC Inspector experience (diploma holder) or 5+ years with a Bachelor's.
• Proven knowledge of piping systems, QA/QC standards, and inspection methodologies.
• Aramco project experience is required.
• Passport validity of at least 6 months and international certificate validity of at least 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections for piping fabrication, erection, alignment, and installation activities.
• Verify piping materials, fittings, valves, and supports in accordance with project specifications.
• Review piping isometrics, drawings, welding maps, and technical documentation.
• Monitor hydrotesting, flushing, and pressure testing activities.
• Coordinate with NDT teams and review inspection reports for piping welds and joints.
• Identify defects, non-conformities, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain inspection records, reports, and quality documentation.
• Ensure compliance with international piping standards, project procedures, and QA/QC requirements.
• Participate in audits, inspections, and project quality meetings.
• Ensure safety compliance during all inspection and testing activities.
