Job summary

Emdad By Elm is seeking a skilled .NET Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications and backend services. You will work with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions and contribute to architecture and development standards.

You will design RESTful APIs, implement integrations, and optimize SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases while applying DDD, clean architecture, and design patterns.

Qualifications

• Proficient in designing and building enterprise web apps using C#/.NET
• Experience delivering RESTful APIs and system integrations
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and data modeling
• Familiar with Domain-Driven Design, clean architecture, and design patterns
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and participate in code reviews and standards
• Experience with source control (Git) and CI/CD workflows

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications and backend services using C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and system integrations with internal and external platforms.
• Design and optimize relational databases using SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Apply software engineering best practices, including Domain-Driven Design, clean architecture, and design patterns.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and QA teams to deliver business requirements.
• Participate in solution design, technical reviews, and architecture discussions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues across different system layers.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge sharing within the development team.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and development processes.
• Manage source code using Git and participate in CI/CD workflows.
