Job summary

Al Rajhi Takaful is seeking an experienced Reinsurance Specialist to manage motor reinsurance and new product activities, ensuring treaty utilization and alignment with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.

You will coordinate facultative placements, monitor specialized portfolios, and collaborate with claims and product teams to optimize protection plans and recoveries, while maintaining strong governance and external partner relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in insurance, business administration or related field.
• 4–5 years of related experience in reinsurance.

Responsibilities

• Review motor and other risks against retention limits and treaty conditions.
• Coordinate facultative reinsurance placements for high-value or non-standard risks.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and strengthen internal controls.
• Ensure accuracy of reinsurance accounting and premium statements.
• Collaborate with product development to design reinsurance protection plans.
• Monitor specialized portfolios (EV, AV, niche products) and adjust structures.
• Partner with Claims to pursue large loss recoveries via reinsurance.
• Lead or support underwriting data, loss histories and market submissions.
• Manage relationships with brokers and international reinsurers.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and international accounting standards.
