Job summary

Imployable in Riyadh seeks a Systems Administrator – Manager / Advisor to lead and support IT infrastructure. This role combines hands-on systems administration with technical leadership, strategic guidance, infrastructure management, and mentoring.

The candidate will have strong experience across enterprise systems, cloud infrastructure, virtualization, security, disaster recovery, and must be able to lead initiatives and provide clear technical direction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 8+ years in systems administration with 2+ years in a managerial/advisory role.
• Strong Windows/Linux experience; cloud (AWS/Azure) proficiency.
• Experience with VMware/Hyper-V and network fundamentals.
• Proficiency in PowerShell or Bash; security and DR focus a must.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain Windows/Linux servers, VMs, and cloud environments.
• Monitor performance, availability, capacity, and reliability.
• Implement IT security, patching, firewall, and vulnerability controls.
• Oversee backup and disaster recovery strategies for continuity.
• Automate admin tasks with PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Direct infrastructure projects and resolve complex issues.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior staff.
• Document systems, procedures, and performance reports.
