Job summary

Daikin Middle East & Africa, a subsidiary of Daikin Industries Ltd., seeks a Senior Project Execution Engineer (HVAC Projects) based in Riyadh to lead end-to-end HVAC projects across the Central Region of KSA. You will manage chiller replacements, retrofit works, VRV systems and turnkey solutions from initiation through close-out, ensuring on-time delivery, budget control and strict HSE compliance.

Required is a Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering with 8+ years in HVAC project execution,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in HVAC project execution, with strong exposure to chillers and VRV systems.
• Demonstrated experience delivering turnkey HVAC projects in KSA or GCC markets.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, particularly VRV technologies and central plant solutions.
• Solid knowledge of project management frameworks (e.g., PMI principles) and execution tools.
• Project Management certification (e.g., PMP or equivalent) is preferred.
• Proven financial acumen with experience in cost control, margin management, and contract administration.
• Strong technical analysis and problem-solving skills to support site execution and resolve day-to-day project issues.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks, submittals, and site activities.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting progress, preparing documentation, and supporting meetings.
• Good commercial awareness, with understanding of cost implications, material usage, and efficient resource utilization.
• Commitment to Quality, Compliance, and HSE standards, ensuring adherence to project specifications, regulatory requirements, and safe work practices on site.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end HVAC project execution (chillers, VRV, retrofits) in KSA/GCC.
• Develop integrated execution plans, manage schedule, resources and budgets.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement and logistics for readiness.
• Ensure HSE compliance and site safety practices.
• Oversee testing, commissioning and handover documentation.
• Maintain client communications and progress reporting to stakeholders.
