Job summary

Confidential is seeking an experienced Enterprise Cybersecurity Architect to establish and maintain security architecture standards and governance across business units. You will drive secure-by-design implementation across cloud, on-prem and OT, and oversee IAM architecture and security integrations.

You will translate risks into architectural controls, align projects with enterprise standards, and advise on major technology initiatives and digital transformation, ensuring alignment with NCA

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (BS) OR bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS or equivalent.
• 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong expertise in security architecture frameworks and design patterns.
• Ability to design and review secure architectures across cloud, on-prem, and OT environments.
• Deep understanding of IAM architecture (SSO, PAM, RBAC).
• Proficiency in security technologies integration (SIEM, EDR, DLP, WAF).
• Knowledge of secure network architecture and segmentation principles.
• Experience in threat modeling and secure design methodologies.
• Ability to define security baselines and hardening standards.
• Understanding of cloud security controls and configurations (Azure preferred).
• Ability to balance security with business needs and cost.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain enterprise cybersecurity architecture standards and principles.
• Ensure all projects and systems are reviewed and aligned with security architecture requirements.
• Drive secure-by-design implementation across cloud, infrastructure, and applications.
• Govern IAM architecture and ensure effective access control models are implemented.
• Ensure security technologies are integrated, optimized, and aligned with enterprise architecture.
• Enforce compliance with regulatory and cybersecurity frameworks (NCA ECC, NIST).
• Support risk management by translating risks into architectural controls.
• Maintain and execute the cybersecurity architecture roadmap aligned with business priorities.
• Define and enforce security architecture governance across all business units and affiliates.
• Act as the primary security advisor for major technology initiatives and digital transformation projects.
• Evaluate and approve security aspects of new technologies and solutions to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
