Job summary

Amazon Web Services is seeking a Senior Security Assurance Solution Architect to help expand the Security Assurance practice, educating customers on product-led, people-powered services that secure workloads on AWS while meeting compliance objectives.

In this customer-facing role, you will lead cross-functional teams, translate regulatory requirements into scalable security solutions, and drive risk management discussions with executives across multiple lines of business.

Qualifications

• Experience in information security and compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field.
• Experience in risk management and internal audit, including risk assessments and audits.
• Experience securing cloud software services with scalable architectures.
• 3+ years advising customers on architectures meeting standards such as NIST 800-53 and GDPR.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams to enhance security assurance and compliance programs.
• Define innovative compliance and risk management approaches for moving workloads to the cloud.
• Engage to resolve assurance questions and demonstrate automated compliance in the AWS environment.
• Collaborate with AWS engineering, support and business teams to relay feedback to roadmaps.
• Travel to customer sites as needed.
