Job summary

Trillium Flow in Riyadh Province, Saudi Arabia, seeks a Field Service Lead to oversee the Field Service department, coordinating teams, equipment, and client interactions. The role emphasizes safe operations, cost control, and service excellence across field activities.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of Field Service experience in heavy equipment.
• Strong understanding of fitting and operation processes.
• Deep knowledge of rotating equipment and mechanical analysis.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages all Field Service department functions, activities and personnel.
• Oversees disassembly, inspection, assembly, troubleshooting and testing of rotating equipment with direct support.
• Support cost estimates for field activity requirements for quotations and proposals.
• Determine acceptability of components for use as is or repair for field activities.
• Schedule workflow to meet dates and optimize resource use.
• Approve overtime and submit plans for approval.
• Manage budgets and costs within the field service department.
• Monitor quality metrics such as scrap, rework and returns costs.
• Approve material purchases needed to meet requirements.
• Select, train, motivate and handle performance matters for department staff.
• Ensure safety rules are followed and provide proper equipment training.
• Ensure shop equipment safety and guards are in place.
• Ensure compliance with company policies in pump shop area.
• Provide training to department personnel.
• Drive improvements to on-site customer services.
• Develop tooling and sketches as required.

As Field Service Lead responsibilities include working directly with teams and clients to ensure their care. They explain what options are available and keep records about everything offered in the facility. Also, to manage all activities and personnel in the Field Service Department. Ensures quality and delivery requirements are met. Ensures compliance of safety rules as well as company policies and practices.

Objectives & Measurement

Key Responsibilities and Specific Accountabilities:

• Manages all Field Service department functions, activities, and personnel. Overseas disassembly, inspection, assembly, troubleshooting and testing of rotating equipment, with direct support if required.
• Support Operation Manager estimates for filed activity requirements for costing information on quotations and proposals.
• Determine the acceptability of components for use as is or repair for field activities.
• Schedules workflow to ensure scheduled attendance dates are met and resources are used efficiently.
• Schedules overtime as needed to meet completion requirements and submit the plan for approval
• Responsible for managing budgets and costs received within the field service department.
• Responsible for quality measures such as scrap, rework and returns costs.
• Approves material purchases needed to meet requirements.
• Selects, trains, motivates, and handles performance matters for all department personnel.
• Ensure that all employees follow safety rules and receives proper training on use of equipment. Ensures shop equipment is functioning properly and have proper safety guards.
• Ensures that company policies and practices are being complied with in the pump shop area.
• Provides training to department personnel.
• Drives improvements to customer on site services provided.
• Develops specially tooling and sketches of product and tooling as required.
• Attendances on schedule.

Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications

• Strong understanding of fitting and operation processes.
• Strong product knowledge of rotating equipment, including mechanical analysis
• Basic understanding of planning, purchasing and inventory management concepts.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to develop relationships with others.
• Self-starter with ability to make technical and business decisions.Ability to train and motivate others.
• Ability to learn computer programs.
• A good understanding of safe operating practices & hazard identification is essential.

Education and/or Experience:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Field Service.
