Job summary

Egis seeks an experienced Environment Project Manager to join the Riyadh site team in Saudi Arabia. You will lead environmental compliance delivery, ensure quality and regulatory adherence, and coordinate with site engineers to meet project requirements.

The role requires strong regulatory knowledge, stakeholder engagement, and leadership to drive performance and continuous improvement across environmental programs on large-scale development projects.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant environmental experience.
• GCC and Saudi Arabia experience in construction environmental assurance and monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, permitting processes in Saudi Arabia.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for interpreting complex environmental data.
• Strong communication skills in English; Arabic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review bi-annual environmental compliance submissions to NCEC and sign off.
• Endorse technical justifications for environmental exceedances.
• Approve remediation plans and closeout documentation.
• Engage with NCEC regulators and ensure site engineers are briefed and supported.
• Lead engagement with Client and PMCM on compliance, risks, and performance.
• Allocate responsibilities among Site Engineers and define escalation thresholds.
