Senior ELV/ICT & BMS/SCADA Systems Engineer

Job summary

WSP in the Middle East is seeking an experienced Senior ELV/ICT Engineer to support a major infrastructure project in Riyadh. The role provides technical oversight and construction supervision across ELV, ICT, BMS, SCADA, PLC and control systems, with emphasis on design reviews, I/O schedules, and multi-disciplinary coordination.

The candidate will review shop drawings, method statements and FAT/SAT procedures, ensuring compliance with international standards and Saudi regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, or related discipline.
• Typically 12+ years of relevant experience on major infrastructure or multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of BMS and SCADA systems.
• Strong understanding of PLC and industrial/control systems.
• Experience with I/O schedules preparation and/or detailed review.

Responsibilities

• Review ELV/ICT, BMS, SCADA, PLC and control system designs, drawings and specifications.
• Verify I/O schedules, control philosophies and system architecture.
• Provide technical oversight of BMS/SCADA integration with other systems.
• Review contractor submissions: shop drawings, submittals, method statements and I&T plans.
• Monitor site installation for compliance with drawings, specs and standards.
• Supervise Fire Alarm and Life Safety interfaces with building systems.
• Coordinate interfaces between civil, electrical, mechanical, ICT and other systems.
• Support FAT/SAT, pre-commissioning, testing and commissioning activities.
• Assist with handover deliverables and O&M documentation.
