Job summary

Air Products in Saudi Arabia seeks a Sr. Cybersecurity Specialist to safeguard critical infrastructure across OT/ICS environments. You will plan, design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity solutions, working with engineers, operations, and maintenance to protect assets from threats.

You will lead drills, incident response, and disaster recovery, applying national and international standards. A strong hands-on background and certification emphasis are required for this mission-critical role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science or relevant fields.
• 6+ years in OT/ICS cybersecurity industry.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, CCNA, EC-Council Incident Handler.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site projects related to industrial control systems compliance with regulations.
• Design, implement and maintain cybersecurity solutions for OT/ICS environments.
• Perform vulnerability assessment, patch management and incident response planning.

Purpose

• Safeguard the critical infrastructure thorough implementing cybersecurity technologies.
• Implementing the cybersecurity requirements mandated by SAIS; Supreme Authority of Industrial Security, National Cybersecurity Authority, High Commission for Industrial Security, and Saudi Aramco applicable standards SAEP-99, 100.
• Operational technology and cybersecurity defense

Nature & Scope

The Sr. Cybersecurity Specialist is responsible to safeguard the critical infrastructure throughout planning, designing, implementing, and maintaining various cybersecurity solutions aim to protect the organization’s information and assets from all potential cyber threats.

• Cybersecurity Manager
• Working cooperatively in plant operational environment with safety, process control engineers, operations, maintenance and other relevant areas.
• The cybersecurity team consists of GRC and Operations "Engineering" carrying out below activities but not limited to:
  • Asset Management
  • Access Management
  • Network management
  • Hardening and patching management
  • Endpoint Protection
  • Backup and disaster recovery
  • Threat hunting
  • Vulnerability Assessment
  • Penetration Testing
  • Physical Security Cybersecurity Drills and tabletop exercise
  • SIEM Management

Principal Accountabilities

Expert in working with various Operational Technology/Industrial Control Systems. Have strong hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining cybersecurity solutions including network architectural understanding and improvement. Expert with cybersecurity tools such as active directory, firewalls, SIEMs, VPNs, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, vulnerability assessment, patch management, backup and recovery. Skilled to lead on-site projects related to industrial control systems compliance to applicable regulations. Good level of knowledge of national and international cybersecurity standards, polices, and procedures Expert in vulnerability assessment, patching management, and system hardening. Knowledgeable in designing systems architecture and network diagrams while meeting the cybersecurity regulations requirements. Skilled to lead cybersecurity drills and tabletop exercise, incident response, and disaster recovery procedures. Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and remediate any system errors. Proactive healthiness checks for detective, preventive, and remediation countermeasures.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science or relevant fields
• 6+ years in OT/ICS cybersecurity industry.
• Cybersecurity professional certificates, preferably:
  • CompTIA Network+
  • CompTIA Security+
  • CISCO CCNA
  • EC-Council Certified Incident Handler
• Saudi national will be given preference
• Very good English language skills in written and verbal communications
