Job description

We are looking for a Senior Cost Estimation Engineer, to work in our PMS project in Khafji in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The role is accountable for the management of the project controls team deployed on various projects. Project control support is given to Project Management team who acts on behalf of the client (Khafji Joint Operations, KJO) and delivers the program of projects.

Knowledge / Experience (Skills):

• At least Eight (12) years’ experience A minimum of Six (8) years of experience in project cost estimation for engineering, procurement and construction for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects. Capable of evaluating and consulting on project cost estimation and forecasting issues and problems.
• PMC experience at similar role for at least several years is preferable.
• Working knowledge of various contracting types and strategies related to project execution.
• Prior experience in schedule and cost benchmarking of oil and gas upstream projects.
• Computer literate with all MS Packages, particularly Word and Excel proficient. Working knowledge of Primavera P6 package.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in the appropriate field.

A minimum of Six (6) years of experience in project cost estimation for engineering, procurement and construction for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects. Capable of evaluating and consulting on project cost estimation and forecasting issues and problems.
