Job Overview
At Electra we need talented people that will share our strategy to be the obvious partner contracting for local & international players who wish to set up an event within the GCC. This role is a cornerstone of Electra's expansion in Saudi Arabia. The Senior BD – KSA will drive revenue across events, exhibitions, structures, tent rental, furniture rental, scenic fabrication, and turnkey live-event solutions. The candidate must be a strong BD generalist with agency experience, capable of selling Electra's full suite of offerings:
- Exhibition stand design & fabrication
- Event production & scenic build
- Temporary structures, tents & stages
- Furniture & décor rental
- Turnkey festival & government event delivery
- Technical integration (through partners)
They should be deeply connected in the KSA market—especially with government entities, giga-projects, agencies, production houses, and developers.
Main Accountabilities
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development Across All Electra Divisions
– Grow Electra's footprint across events, exhibitions, structures, and rental within the Kingdom.
- Win new clients and large‑scale projects from government, giga‑projects, corporate, sports, festivals, and live‑event sectors.
- Promote Electra's in‑house strengths: carpentry, metal, scenic, structures, production, logistics, and rental capability.
- Drive revenue in line with Electra's KSA growth targets for 2026–2030.
- Client & Agency Partnerships – Actively engage and maintain relationships with creative agencies, experiential agencies, production companies, consultants, developers, city authorities, and ministries.
- Position Electra as a reliable partner capable of large‑scale delivery, fast turnaround, and compliance with KSA requirements.
- Lead client pitches, presentations, and technical deep‑dives showcasing Electra's portfolio.
- Tendering, Pricing & Commercial Management – Lead the full tender process: RFP evaluation, pricing coordination, commercial structure, risk assessment, and submission.
- Work closely with Dubai HQ's Estimation, Technical, and Production teams to prepare competitive proposals.
- Ensure all tender responses reflect Electra's capabilities, strengths, timelines, and resource availability.
- Negotiate contracts and secure commercially viable terms.
- Coordination With Dubai HQ – Collaborate daily with internal teams: exhibitions, events, structures & tents, scenic & joinery, project management.
- Provide clear briefings and required documentation for accurate costing and execution planning.
- Support operational teams during onsite builds, mobilization, and delivery phases in KSA.
- Market Intelligence & Strategy Input – Identify trends, competitor movement, pricing benchmarks, and upcoming seasonal calendars (Riyadh Season, Jeddah Season, Formula 1, festivals, sports, etc.).
- Highlight strategic gaps, partnership opportunities, and regulatory changes (permits, Saudization, logistics).
- Recommend new product lines or rental inventory tailored for the KSA market.
- Reporting & Governance – Maintain updated CRM entries, revenue forecasts, and sales reports.
- Attend weekly review calls with the Head of BD and relevant department heads.
- Ensure adherence to Electra's BD processes, SOPs, ethics standards, and HSSE guidelines.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5–10 years BD experience in events, exhibitions, rental, structures, or agency-side in the KSA market.
- Strong existing network with KSA agencies, ministries, giga‑project teams, and event organizers.
- Proven ability to independently manage a market while coordinating with remote HQ.
- Ability to sell multiple service lines and understand technical scopes.
- Strong commercial and contractual understanding.
- Arabic is an advantage but not mandatory.
