Responsibilities
  • As a Senior Analyst within BCG\'s Transactions & Integrations (TI), part of Corporate Finance and Strategy (CFS) practice, you will work in a growing global team, delivering value to clients via individual expertise and/or institutionalized knowledge assets on Mergers & Acquisitions, PMI and Carve-out topics.
  • You will contribute on cases and proposals by contributing relevant analysis and insights and help case teams create strong impact for the client.
  • While contributing to client cases, workshops and proposals, occasional travel to serve clients onsite during staffing assignments is expected to understand client requirements, and design / develop solutions.
  • You will support commercialization efforts for the topic/sector working, in conjunction with business leaders, through contributing analysis and insights to proposals, client workshops and marketing materials.
  • Additionally, as a Senior Analyst, you will contribute to developing intellectual property & assets for the business and assist in onboarding and training junior colleagues based on your topic/sector expertise.
  • The TI business is one of BCG\'s largest topics and fastest growing practices. With more than 300 M&A, transactions, and post-merger integration professionals worldwide, we help corporate and private equity clients execute deals efficiently and maximize value creation.
  • We support end-to-end transaction excellence, including strategic decision making in mergers and acquisitions, preparing, and executing divestitures and joint ventures, supporting IPOs and spinoffs, and creating winning strategies for post-merger integration.
  • TI interfaces closely with industry and other functional practices and has an important mandate with respect to content development, go-to-market, team building, and marketing.
Responsibilities (continued)
  • Develop and share intellectual property, and contribute to product/tool development and deployment, considering different client contexts.
  • Framing, structuring, and sharing intellectual property, with the ability to write clearly and concisely.
  • Working creatively and analytically in a time-limited, problem-solving environment.
  • Flexible, curious, and creative mindset; able to propose innovative ideas and navigate complexity and ambiguity.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of consulting experience in relevant topics (Transactions/M&A, Corporate Finance, Integrations/PMI, Business Separations/Carve-outs, or similar topics) required; candidates with consulting experience strongly preferred.
  • In lieu of consulting experience, 4+ years minimum industry experience required; 4-6+ years of industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor\'s Degree required (advanced degree preferred).
  • Knowledge and experience of new age financial modeling tools (e.g., Anaplan) and advanced Excel tools (e.g., Power Pivot) are beneficial.
  • Fluency in English; other languages (e.g., Arabic) are beneficial.
  • Strong business acumen and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
