Job summary

NCS is seeking a Senior / AI Native Builder for its AI Central unit to turn ambiguous business challenges into AI-powered products, MVPs, and reusable assets for regulated sectors in Singapore and the wider Asia Pacific region. You will work in live client contexts with senior leaders, shaping solutions that combine engineering, design, and delivery.

Candidates should have real-world AI delivery experience and strong stakeholder skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent practical experience is valued.
• Demonstrated experience delivering AI, machine learning, or generative AI solutions in real-world settings.
• Strong understanding of modern AI tooling, including LLM application patterns, orchestration frameworks, automation platforms, evaluation approaches, and model limitations.
• Ability to balance experimentation with sound engineering discipline, including security, reliability, and maintainability.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical execution and to advise at the executive level.
• Proven ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and deliver outcomes at pace.

Responsibilities

• Lead the journey from client problem statement to working prototype, MVP, or deployable solution.
• Translate ambiguous business challenges into clear product hypotheses, technical approaches, and execution plans.
• Build and ship AI-enabled solutions using the right combination of software engineering, model orchestration, automation, and design tools.
• Make sound trade-offs across speed, quality, security, scalability, and business value.
• Advise client technology and business leaders on AI investment priorities, architecture decisions, and build-versus-buy choices.
• Drive fast experiments and iterative delivery cycles to validate desirability, feasibility, and value.
• Contribute reusable patterns, playbooks, and working practices to scale AI-native delivery across sectors and geographies.
• Stay current with emerging AI tools, methods, and frameworks, and apply them where they create measurable advantage.
