Role Objective
To supervise security operations and personnel during assigned shifts, ensuring the safety of people, assets, and facilities at all times, while maintaining a secure and disciplined working environment for the security team.
Core Responsibilities
- Apply and monitor security policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal standards while delivering high-quality service.
- Prepare the security manpower distribution plan and manage the team vacation schedule.
- Maintain accurate and consistent attendance and shift records.
- Supervise security personnel during the assigned shift and ensure the quality of work is maintained.
- Handle and control emergency situations (e.g., fire incidents, behavioral issues, medical emergencies) in line with approved emergency response procedures.
- Maintain a professional image that reflects positively on the department and the organization.
- Monitor security patrol vehicles and conduct regular checks on posts and patrol routes.
- Maintain records for visitors and all security equipment.
- Ensure all guards report to duty in full uniform and meet readiness requirements.
- Supervise the shift activities and work of security contractors, providing formal and informal feedback to ensure compliance with required standards.
- Train and support new security personnel.
- Prepare timely and accurate reports in line with departmental and organizational requirements, policies, and standards.
- Maintain weekly, monthly, and annual incident reports and security activity records.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders and other parties within the operational area as required.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental management policies and procedures to support employee safety, legal compliance, and responsible environmental practices.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant certifications in security, facilities protection, or military/police security-related training.
- ISPS-PFSO certification (required).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial security, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or similar role.
- Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
