Job summary

Saudi Telecom Company seeks a cybersecurity architect to design specialized security frameworks and protect critical infrastructure and data against cyber threats. You will develop and maintain security architectures, establish device-level controls, and support SOC operations for proactive threat detection and response.

Responsibilities include coordinating SOC deployments, integrating SIEM/EDR/IDS/IPS tools, conducting vulnerability assessments, and improving penetration testing methodologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Network Security, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3–6 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Design network security frameworks to protect infrastructure, technology assets and data.
• Develop and maintain specialized security architecture to safeguard digital environments.
• Establish device-level security guidelines including access controls and encryption standards.
• Support design and enhancement of the Mission-Critical SOC for proactive threat detection and response.
• Coordinate vendor activities related to SOC deployment and cybersecurity system upgrades.
• Implement and monitor preventative security solutions such as firewalls and IDS/IPS.
• Support integration of advanced threat detection tools (SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS).
• Develop and maintain vulnerability assessment plans across systems, networks and applications.
• Improve penetration testing and vulnerability management methodologies.
• Develop incident response playbooks and communication protocols for breaches.

The role holder is responsible for designing specialized s cybersecurity and network security architecture frameworks and protocols to safeguard infrastructure systems and data from cyber threats ensures proactive detection prevention and response measures are implemented in alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures Key Functional Accountability Design network security frameworks to protect infrastructure technology assets and data in line with cybersecurity strategies and industry regulations Develop and maintain specialized s network and cybersecurity architecture to safeguard digital environments and ensure resilience against cyber threats Establish device-level security guidelines for Mission-Critical and Business-Critical including access controls encryption standards and authentication protocols Support the design implementation and continuous enhancement of the Mission-Critical Security Operations Center SOC to enable proactive threat detection incident response and mitigation Coordinate vendor activities related to SOC deployment and cybersecurity system upgrades ensuring compliance with specialized s technical and security requirements Implement and monitor preventative security solutions such as firewalls intrusion detection systems and antivirus tools to protect the organization from external threats Support the integration of advanced threat detection tools e g SIEM EDR IDS IPS to enable real-time security monitoring and response capabilities Develop and maintain vulnerability assessment plans across specialized s systems networks and applications to detect and resolve potential weaknesses Improve and adapt penetration testing and vulnerability management methodologies in response to emerging cybersecurity challenges Develop and maintain incident response playbooks and communication protocols to minimize damage from security breaches and report Mission-Critical -related breaches to the MCC as required
