Job summary

KAUST’s Science Communications and Engagement team seeks a hands‑on coordinator to bring world‑class research and education to life through engaging content and to develop communications materials for divisional initiatives. You’ll work with faculty, researchers, students, and staff to tell compelling stories in Arabic and English for audiences in Saudi Arabia and globally.

You will manage digital channels, maintain an editorial calendar, and support events with high‑quality presentation

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in communications, journalism, media or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in communications, content creation, digital media or related role.

Responsibilities

• Create original, engaging content that showcases the Division’s research, education, people, and impact.
• Turn scientific work into clear, compelling stories for diverse audiences.
• Build relationships with faculty, researchers, and students to develop story ideas.
• Contribute to Divisional communications materials for events, reports, and brochures.
• Manage the Division’s LinkedIn and X channels; publish engaging posts and maintain an editorial calendar.
• Engage with Arabic and English audiences; develop bilingual storytelling.
• Prepare talking points and presentation materials for events and external engagements.
