Overview
The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving the sale of water dispensers, associated products (e.g., filters), and maintenance contracts to new and existing clients. The role requires a proactive, results-oriented individual with a strong focus on new business acquisition and building long-term customer relationships within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development
- Achieve Sales Targets: Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for water dispenser units, water volume, and service contracts.
- New Business Acquisition: Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities, primarily targeting offices, corporate clients, retail establishments, and/or residential customers (depending on the market focus).
- Cold Calling & Networking: Utilize cold calling, email campaigns, networking, and referrals to generate a robust pipeline of prospective leads.
- Product Presentation: Conduct professional product demonstrations and presentations tailored to the client's specific needs and budget.
- Needs Assessment: Accurately assess client requirements (e.g., volume, type of dispenser, installation complexity) and propose the most suitable product and service solutions.
- Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements to successfully close sales deals while maintaining company profitability standards.
Client Relationship Management
- Account Servicing: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients to ensure high customer satisfaction and secure repeat business and referrals.
- Upselling/Cross-selling: Identify opportunities to upsell clients on premium dispenser models, larger water volume subscriptions, or additional related products/services.(even other HWB products)
- Issue Resolution: Act as a point of contact for clients, coordinating with the logistics and customer service teams to resolve any delivery, maintenance, or billing issues promptly.
Reporting and Administration
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, client interactions, and sales pipeline status using the company's CRM system.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and business reviews to the Water Solutions Director/Manager
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive activities, and market pricing to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Proven work experience as a Sales Executive, Sales Representative, or in a similar relevant role, preferably 3+ years.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of self-motivation, energy, and drive to achieve results.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
Desirable
- Prior experience in the FMCG, beverage, or water purification/dispenser industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
