Job summary

Safari Group is seeking a seasoned Safety Manager in Saudi Arabia to develop and manage comprehensive safety programs for complex operations. You will lead risk assessments, incident investigations, and audits while ensuring adherence to PTW requirements and international safety standards.

The role requires strong English communication and the ability to coordinate safety with multiple teams and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• International safety certifications such as NEBOSH or OSHA are preferred.
• 8+ years in occupational and operational safety.
• Experience in safety program management in construction or maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of Risk Management and MOC.
• Experience in safety inspections, investigations and reporting.
• Knowledge of PTW systems and hazardous-environment safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage safety programs for operations and maintenance.
• Ensure safety compliance in construction and maintenance activities.
• Conduct risk assessments and manage hazardous activities.
• Lead RCA and incident investigations; implement corrective actions.
• Ensure PTW compliance and track CAPA across sites.
• Coordinate safety with operations, engineering, maintenance and contractors.
• Plan, schedule, and document inspections, audits and trainings.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage operational and occupational safety programs Ensure safety compliance in construction and maintenance operations Conduct risk assessments and manage hazardous activities Manage MOC Management of Change procedures Perform safety inspections evaluations and audits and recommend corrective actions Prepare safety and compliance reports Lead incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis RCA Ensure compliance with Permit-to-Work PTW requirements Monitor safe work practices and international safety standards Coordinate safety activities with operations engineering maintenance and contractors Plan and schedule inspections audits training and safety activities Track corrective and preventive actions CAPA

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• International Safety/Occupational Safety certification such as NEBOSH or OSHA.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in occupational and operational safety.
• Experience in safety program management, especially in construction or maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of Risk Management and MOC.
• Experience in safety inspections, evaluations, investigations, and reporting.
• Knowledge of Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems and hazardous-environment safety procedures.
• Knowledge of international safety standards and codes.
• Experience in safety planning and scheduling.
