We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Risk Manager to lead risk identification, assessment, and mitigation activities for our road and infrastructure project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline from an accredited university.
• 20+ years of experience in large-scale infrastructure projects such as bridges, underpasses, overpasses, roads, and highways.
• Proven experience in project risk management across planning, design, and construction phases.
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken); Arabic proficiency is a plus.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Solid understanding of risk management frameworks and methodologies (e.g., risk registers, risk matrices, qualitative and quantitative analysis).
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and strong analytical and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for roads and bridges project, identifying potential hazards and developing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to integrate risk management processes into the project lifecycle, ensuring that all team members are aware of potential risks.
• Monitor and report on risk exposure throughout the project phases, utilizing risk management software and tools to track progress and effectiveness of mitigation measures.
• Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures tailored to the specific needs of road and bridge construction project, aligning them with industry best practices.
• Facilitate risk workshops and training sessions for project teams, enhancing their understanding of risk management principles and promoting a proactive risk culture.
• Analyze project data and historical performance metrics to identify trends and inform future risk management strategies, ensuring continuous improvement.
• Engage with regulatory bodies and industry associations to stay updated on compliance requirements and emerging risks in the construction sector.
• Prepare detailed risk reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights into risk exposure and recommending strategies for risk reduction.
• Lead cross-functional teams in developing contingency plans and response strategies for identified risks, ensuring that the organization is prepared for potential challenges.
