Job summary

FashionUnited is seeking a motivated Visual Merchandiser to enhance the shopper experience through visually appealing displays in-store. You will work with the senior Visual Merchandising team to implement and maintain brand standards that drive sales and support the store’s image.

The role involves collaborating with sales staff, participating in pre-opening visits, researching market trends, and ensuring consistency with brand identity across windows and in-store layouts.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a retail environment, preferably in visual merchandising or sales.
• Around 6 months to 1 year direct experience assisting in visual merchandising tasks (setting up displays, planograms, maintaining aesthetics).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior Visual Merchandising team and sales team to achieve commercial goals.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining visual standards in-store to drive sales and brand image.
• Develop floor plans and maximize visual impact.
• Arrange merchandise, signage, fixtures and in-store layout guides.
• Take photographs of changes to the displays.
• Use lighting to enhance window displays and in-store presentation.
• Coordinate store displays with brand guidelines and strategy.
• Provide guidance and training to staff on visual standards.
