Responsibilities

• Inspection & coordinate all incoming inspections of goods & raw materials
• Coordinate and conduct all quality inspections of every quality stage in organization.
• Coordinate with the client’s representative on all quality matters.
• Perform inspections as per defined QC procedures.
• Verify that the quality related activities are in accordance with the applicable codes and standards.
• Report all non-conformance reports and undertake remedial action.
• Review the client’s specification and job card and report if any deviation observed.
• Monitor the implementation of the approved QC Plan and quality management system procedure.
• Complete and coordinate the approval of the QC technical submittals to the customers.
• Elaborate inspection and testing of the material and product in the mechanical laboratory.
• Inspection of metal formed or in-process inspection which include first part approval, online shop floor inspection and final inspection.
• Inspection of Heat‑treated fasteners.
• Final inspection of goods, before they are released for dispatch to the customer.
• To provide cover and assistance to other members of the Quality Department.
• All other suitable tasks that the Quality Manager instructs the Inspector to carry out.
• Ensure one’s own safety and that of others.
• Ensure safety is adhered to in the company.
• Ensure and cooperate with employees on OH&S rules and instruction.
• Do not interfere or misuse anything provided in the interest of health & safety.
• Report any accident, near miss, hazard, defect or ill health immediately to employer.
• Experience using thread gauges, micrometers, thread micrometers and shadowgraph. Knowledge of inspection techniques and experience of maintaining quality records.
• Knowledge of the ISO9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO45001:2018 standard.
• Willing to work in shifts.

Educational Qualification & Experience

• Diploma in engineering or Graduation with relevant experience in fasteners manufacturing industries.
• 2-3 years of experience in the fasteners industries manufacturing industries or steel manufacturing industries.
