The ideal candidate will be responsible for Implementing, sustaining, and participating in the continual improvement of the QHS Management System for warehouses under his area of responsibility by the legislations, QHS MS, and relevant QHS standards, ensuring proper controls of all hazards and risks related to health and safety of employees are in place and QHS targets are achieved.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement QHSE plans, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct regular QHS inspections and audits.
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs to employees at all levels.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to QHSE.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international QHS regulations.
- Collaborate with warehouse managers and other departments to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
- Identify QHS training needs for the entire team, prepare and execute training programs accordingly.
- Ensure all accidents and reported hazards are investigated and proper CAPA are identified, monitor and support the implementation.
- Sponsor and support all QHS initiatives and ensure Reward and Recognition for all employees who have contributed to the enhancement of the QHS in the workplace.
- Lead and sponsor QHSE initiatives, including employee recognition programs for contributions to workplace safety and quality.
- Review operational processes to ensure safety, environmental, and quality controls are in place.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 22000, and ISO 45001 requirements, plus a recognized QHS certification.
- Fluent in Arabic and English.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
