Job summary

Saudi Aramco seeks a seasoned QC coating inspector to verify materials, equipment and systems during construction and pre-commissioning. The role demands hands-on testing, documentation, and strict adherence to industry standards, with emphasis on quality control and safety.

Applicants must hold a high school diploma with extensive field experience, and current SAEP-316/SSPC/NACE certifications or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with six or more years of direct work experience in QC inspection and testing of industrial project materials, equipment, systems and facilities under construction and Pre-Commissioning.
• Three or more years of direct work experience performing QC inspection and testing related to the scope of WORK (e.g., industrial oil and gas production or petrochemical projects).
• Proficient in reading, writing and speaking the English language.
• Thorough knowledge of the 2015 version of ISO 9001 QMS requirements, engineering discipline, drawing standards, material specification, construction methods and QC inspection/test procedures.
• Currently certified to SAEP-316 Level II by NACE as CIP, or SSPC as PCI, or TWI CL as BGAS-CSWIP, or equivalent.
• Training and knowledge of coating materials, application methods, quality activities and codes/standards such as ASTM, ISO, NACE SPs and SSPC SPs.
• Previous Aramco coating inspector approval letter required.
• CV and interview reported by Aramco as failed will result in contract rejection.

• - Demonstrated thorough knowledge and understanding of the 2015 version of ISO 9001 QMS requirements engineering discipline drawing standards material specification construction methods and QC Inspection and test procedure in one or more inspection discipline
• - Currently certified to SAEP-316 level II by NACE as CIP or 2 SSPC as PCI or 3 TWI CL as BGAS-CSWIP or 4 an approved equivalent certification scheme required for the work
• - Training direct work experience and demonstrated thorough working knowledge of coating materials application methods quality activities and recognized engineering codes and standards required for the work such as ASTM ISO NACE SPs and SSPC SPs
• - Previous Aramco coating inspector approval letter is required
• - The candidate contract will be rejected in case of CV and interview reported failed by Aramco
