Job summary

AECOM is seeking a senior QA/QC engineer in Duba, Tabuk, KSA to lead quality assurance efforts across engineering projects. You will develop and execute QA/QC procedures, perform manual and automated testing, and drive continuous improvement through defect analysis and verification.

You will mentor junior QA engineers, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold quality objectives throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in QA/QC, quality engineering, or related quality assurance roles.
  • Advanced proficiency in manual and automated testing methodologies, including test planning and test case development.
  • Experience in technical validation and verification activities with strong analytical capabilities.
  • Extensive knowledge of quality engineering data analysis, documentation, and defect tracking systems.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing budgets and schedules.
  • Experience mentoring junior QA engineers and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Job Description

**Responsibilities:**

  • Develops and executes comprehensive quality assurance and quality control procedures using established testing methodologies and industry standards.
  • Conducts technical validation and verification activities, including test planning, test case development, and defect identification using both manual and automated testing approaches.
  • Gathers, analyzes, and correlates quality engineering data and test results using well-defined procedures and technical documentation.
  • Identifies and documents discrepancies, defects, and non-conformances, providing detailed analysis and recommendations for resolution.
  • Proposes innovative approaches to solve quality challenges by adapting standard testing procedures and methodologies developed from previous projects and industry best practices.
  • Provides technical guidance and mentoring to entry-level QA engineers and quality assurance team members.
  • Ensures compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies throughout the quality assurance lifecycle.
  • Performs quality assurance work independently and in accordance with agreed-upon budgets and schedules with minimal supervision.
  • Independently executes all tasks necessary to complete quality assurance elements for engineering projects and technical deliverables.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional engineering and development teams to ensure quality objectives are met and maintained throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Performance at this level requires developmental experience in a professional QA/QC or quality engineering position.

  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and organizational quality policies
  • Proven track record of collaborating effectively with cross-functional engineering and development teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document discrepancies and provide detailed technical analysis

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Quality Management, or related field
  • Certification in quality assurance or quality management (ASQ, ISTQB, or equivalent)
  • Experience with industry-specific quality standards and best practices
  • Proficiency with test automation tools and quality management software
  • Experience in regulated industries (aerospace, medical devices, automotive, or pharmaceutical)
