Job summary

Confidential is seeking a detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer to ensure project activities meet quality standards, specifications, and client requirements. You will oversee quality management systems, conduct inspections, prepare documentation, and drive continuous improvement across construction and landscape sites.

Your role includes developing plans, reviewing submittals, handling NCRs, coordinating with teams, and ensuring safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Quality Engineering required.
• Experience as QA/QC Engineer in construction or landscape projects.
• Knowledge of ISO quality management systems and inspection methods.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project-specific quality plans, inspection & test plans (ITPs), procedures, and checklists.
• Conduct inspections of materials, workmanship, and site activities to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Review and approve material submittals, method statements, shop drawings, and quality-related documentation.
• Monitor non-conformances (NCRs), root-cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions.
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve quality issues and ensure timely inspections.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, quality reports, and documentation for project handover.
• Ensure laboratory testing (soil, concrete, water, etc.) is conducted according to project requirements.
• Support internal audits and contribute to quality improvement initiatives across project sites.
• Verify that all materials delivered to the site meet approved specifications and standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental procedures relevant to QA/QC activities.
