Job description

Contract Duration:24 months
Role Overview:
The Project Manager will spearhead the planning, setup, and day-to-day operation of the Design Studio. This key leadership role requires advanced expertise in architecture or urban planning, strong project management capabilities, and proven experience aligning stakeholders toward ambitious urban development goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the detailed work plan for the studio’s establishment and operation phases.
  • Lead, mentor, and coordinate a multidisciplinary team including architectural and urban design reviewers, IT support, and analysts.
  • Ensure that all design submissions comply fully with approved Urban Identity Guidelines and related regulations.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships with Hail Development Authority, municipalities, and other relevant entities.
  • Oversee technical reports, compliance documentation, and periodic progress updates.
  • Proactively identify risks and implement solutions to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Architecture or Urban Planning.
  • 20+ years of professional experience in related fields, with clear evidence of leadership roles in complex urban or architectural projects.
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent credentials are strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in research or academic contributions related to urban identity, urban codes, or heritage-based design is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
