A leading engineering firm is seeking a Project Engineer with 10 years of experience in executing EHV Over Head Transmission Line projects, preferably in the Middle East. The role includes project coordination, managing design submittals, liaising with suppliers and clients, and enforcing the construction program. Responsibilities also encompass managing technical issues, maintaining updated project documentation, and implementing quality assurance practices on-site.

Qualifications

• 10 years experience in execution of EHV Over Head Transmission Line projects, preferably in Middle East.
• Strong knowledge in project coordination, design and construction processes.
• Experience with managing subcontractors and procurement.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical, contractual, and commercial issues for project completion.
• Update technical drawings and specifications as needed.

Job description

Project Engineer - Electrical having 10 years experience in execution of EHV Over Head Transmission Line projects preferably in Middle East. He will be responsible for project coordination, design submittals, coordinating with design office, suppliers and Client Reviewers for securing all design, drawing approvals. Updating progress reports and JOB MIS

Prepare & enforce the Construction Program for follow-up and corrective measures to be implemented where necessary during the project work including procurement, proper storage, manpower planning and Sub contractor Management.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical, contractual & commercial issues related to efficient project completion including technical submittals, invoicing, collection of payments, variations, etc.
• Keep information related to technical drawings, electrical equipment lists, construction equipment lists, technical specifications updated and readily available
• Support to Implement the set Quality Assurance & EHS Plan throughout the site
• Promote a favorable work culture to encourage ethical and professional practice by all employees at the project site
• Address significant issues before they have adverse impact on the company and client
