Project Accountant Responsibilities
  1. Administer the entire project accounting cycle, including coordinating month-end and year-end closing of project accounts.
  2. Submit monthly financial analyses for project accounting.
  3. Implement and execute project closing procedures.
  4. Work closely with Project Managers and technical staff to prepare monthly management reporting packages for assigned projects.
  5. Assist with special projects and castings.
  6. Prepare annual and mid-year budgets.
  7. Generate accurate and timely project budgets for approval.
  8. Provide forecasts for gross revenue, contribution, and cash flow monthly.
  9. Provide monthly reports.
  10. Coordinate invoicing and billing schedules; reconcile accounts receivable monthly.
  11. Coordinate with Project Managers and finance/contracts departments to ensure financial instruments are up-to-date and reflect project requirements.
  12. Track all commitments in detail.
Qualifications

The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related subject. A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience is required.
