Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking an instrumentation assembler to assemble and test instrumentation components, panels, and related equipment according to drawings and specifications.

The role involves mechanical assembly, wiring, cable termination, and basic electrical testing, with strict adherence to safety procedures. Candidates should have a technical diploma and experience reading wiring diagrams and technical drawings.

Qualifications

• Technical/vocational diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous experience in instrumentation, or industrial equipment assembly is preferred.
• Basic ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and measuring equipment.
• Basic understanding of electrical/instrumentation components.
• Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assemble instrumentation components, panels, devices, and related equipment according to drawings and specifications.
• Perform mechanical assembly, wiring, cable termination, crimping, and connection of instrumentation components.
• Read and follow basic electrical/instrumentation drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.
• Use hand tools, measuring instruments, and assembly equipment safely and correctly
• Perform basic checks and functional testing of assembled units.
• Identify assembly defects, wiring issues, or damaged components and report them to the supervisor.
• Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and production requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow HSE procedures.
• Record completed work and report any production or quality issues.
• Support other production activities when required.
