Job summary

Asmacs is seeking a Pre-Commissioning Manager/Engineer to lead multidisciplinary execution on major oil and gas projects in the Middle East. The role demands strong leadership, deep EPC/plant experience, and hands-on readiness verification.

You will develop pre-commissioning execution plans, oversee test packs and handover processes, coordinate with engineering, construction, vendors, commissioning and client teams to ensure safe, compliant completion and timely turnover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 12 years EPC/plant experience for manager; 5+ years in pre-commissioning leadership; 5+ years for engineer.
• Experience developing pre-commissioning plans, procedures, schedules and turnover documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop pre-commissioning execution plans and system breakdowns.
• Manage test packs, punch lists, and turnover certificates.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, vendors, commissioning and client teams.
• Ensure readiness verification, PTW/LOTO and quality compliance.

PRE-COMMISSIONING MANAGER / ENGINEER

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
• Manager: Minimum 12 years of EPC/plant experience, including at least 5 years in pre-commissioning/completion leadership; Engineer: Minimum 5 years of relevant EPC/plant experience
• Experience developing pre-commissioning execution plans, system/subsystem breakdowns, procedures, schedules, manpower/equipment plans, and SIMOPS/interface controls
• Hands-on knowledge of cleaning, flushing, blowing, drying, leak testing, lube-oil flushing, chemical cleaning, motor solo run, equipment preservation, reinstatement, and readiness verification
• Experience managing test packs, punch lists, MC dossiers, turnover certificates, completion databases, system handover, and coordination with engineering, construction, vendors, commissioning, and client teams
• Strong ability to read P&IDs, isometrics, SLDs, loop diagrams and system boundaries; working knowledge of PTW, LOTO, HSE and quality requirements
• Preferred: Large-scale oil & gas/petrochemical projects, Middle East projects, and digital completions systems (e.g., WinPCS, ICAPS, Hexagon Smart Completions, or equivalent)
