Job summary

SDEC is seeking an experienced powder coating technician to operate coating plants for switchgear panels. The role involves reading production drawings, preparing materials, and managing loading/unloading of objects.

Qualified candidates have at least 5 years of relevant experience and solid knowledge of powder coating processes, including oven operation and coating thickness testing. Prior maintenance experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience operating powder coating plant equipment.
• Knowledge of coating thickness testing.
• Maintenance of powder coating plant and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Read production drawings and prepare lists of coating powders and cleaning chemicals.
• Load and unload coating objects and operate coating and baking equipment.
• Monitor and control oven temperatures for coating objects and curing process.
• Prepare materials as per bill of materials and assist supervisor.
• Perform cleaning and degreasing steps and ensure coating thickness testing.

• Good knowledge in automatic & Manual Powder coating plant operations
• Very good knowledge in automatic Powder Curing Oven Operation plant
• Very good knowledge in Drying Oven Plant operations
• Very good Knowledge in Timing Control of Conveyor
• Very good knowledge in Oven temperature control setting as per coating Objects.
• Good knowledge in testing of Coating thickness
