Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a highly capable PMIS Implementation Manager to join our team for a PMWeb implementation and rollout. In this position, you will apply your functional and technical expertise in the implementation of project management information systems namely PMWeb, and other corporate PMIS solutions across major client programs and contribute to the program as an implementation delivery manager for Parsons in EMEA. The PMIS implementation manager will have excellent functional knowledge of PMWeb coupled with sound project management acumen and demonstrated experience of system rollouts using an implementation methodology to independently roll out PMWeb from implementation through rollout. The candidate should be aware of how PMIS systems function within the project and program environment, allowing them to operate independently on assigned projects while also leading other PMIS delivery staff.

What You\'ll Be Doing
  • PMIS implementation and rollout responsibilities: responsible for the implementation, configuration, and administration of PMWeb to meet client needs and our project requirements.
  • The responsibilities listed below in detail are spread across various implementation and rollout phases for PMWeb and the candidate must lead and deliver them independently.
  • Be a PMIS Evangelist on the program, conduct workshops and produce presentations to ensure PMWeb is fully recognised and accepted by the Program leadership and the Client executive leadership team as the PMIS on the program, and ensure it is not reduced to a mere reporting tool or an expensive Excel-based alternative.
  • Lead PMWeb implementation with a process-automation approach on the program, own the PMIS landscape, and lead your PMIS delivery team. Manage the following products: PMWeb, Microsoft SSRS, and Power BI to meet program needs; address integration scenarios with P6 EPPM and client ERP/third-party solutions as they arise.
What Required Skills You\'ll Bring
  • Lead requirement elicitation workshops aligned with PMPs written by program management SMEs; articulate details for processes such as forms, workflow, RACI, reports, and dashboards as agreed between SMEs and Client counterparts in PMP documents.
  • Set up information-gathering sessions through structured workshops with internal and external stakeholders to isolate requirements for designs in a requirement document signed off by Program SMEs and Client PMIS counterparts; revisit this document when new requirements emerge.
  • Ensure the PMIS system aligns with PMPs written by function leads and SMEs; highlight deviations to program leadership and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead workshops with the IT team to set up the PMIS instance and ensure compliance with client IT policies.
Responsibilities during the Design Phase
  • Architect PMWeb solutions through careful analysis of requirements, designing and building PMWeb solutions to meet program needs.
  • Design modules for Commercials, Risk, Quality, HSE, and document control in PMWeb.
  • Design transactional reports in PMWeb; proficient with SQL queries. For complex report requirements, a Microsoft SSRS expert may support this task.
  • Experience with client system integration scenarios involving PMWeb PMIS; clearly articulate integration requirements and help design a solution with the Corporate PMIS integration specialist addressing integration with client systems such as ERP, APIs, and related testing tools.
  • Support PMIS (Microsoft SSRS) and reporting specialists to implement dashboard/report designs in Power BI based on data models built from PMIS datasets; or take ownership to build dashboards and data models in Power BI for program management teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, IT or related engineering field from an accredited university.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience independently implementing PMWeb projects; managing requirements gathering, design, adoption, and rollout for PMIS.
  • Strong client-facing abilities to independently develop processes and reports in PMWeb.
  • Good project management and project reporting skills to ensure PMIS delivery on time.
  • Strong work ethics to see PMWeb implementation through to standup and launch; PMWeb administration post-implementation or offshore PMWeb design alone is not sufficient.
  • Experience implementing PMWeb for a PMO/PMC setup and ability to demonstrate proficiency in query-based report writing in PMWeb using SQL.
  • Professional-level written and verbal English; Arabic is a plus but not required.
  • Must have client-facing experience; offshore experience does not count.
  • Knowledge of project management and construction management environments with a minimum of 5+ years on programs; familiarity with Power BI or related MS analytics tools is desirable.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Business Analytics tools (Power BI) and query languages; DAX experience is a bonus beyond PMWeb experience.

You must demonstrate management experience in coordinating PMIS technical specialists for integration scenarios and using functional testing tools.
