DAR AL RIYADH is seeking an experienced Project Controls Lead in Saudi Arabia to oversee controls, scheduling, reporting, and staffing for major projects. You will manage a team, review consultant schedules, and ensure cost and schedule integrity across the program.

The role requires extensive experience in project controls, strong communication skills, and fluency in Arabic and English. PMP/Prince2 is preferred, with advanced knowledge of Primavera, MS Project, and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering.
• Registered engineer with the Saudi Council of Engineers.
• 10+ years of experience in project controls or a related field.
• PMI PMP or Prince2 certification preferred.
• Strong planning/scheduling knowledge with Primavera and MS Project.
• Advanced MS Office and Power BI skills.
• Fluent in Arabic and English with strong communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead the project controls and document control staff for efficient delivery.
• Prepare the Project Controls plan for assigned projects.
• Oversee consultant planning, scheduling, manpower histograms and progress measurement.
• Ensure effective execution of Project Controls programs per procedures.
• Review contracts to ensure adequate cost and scope definition.
• Coordinate data for negotiations and client reporting.
• Apply planning and scheduling techniques per the Execution Plan.
• Prepare weekly and monthly internal and client project status reports.
• Develop staffing plans and resource execution for the project organization.
• Present Project Controls updates to client management as required.

Lead the project controls amp Document Control staff for efficient project control delivery Prepares the Project Controls plan for assigned projects Provide oversight and review of the Consultant s planning and scheduling of the assigned projects including Consultant staff plans and manpower histograms and project progress measurement etc Responsible for effective execution of Project Controls programs on the assigned program in accordance with Project Controls Department Procedures Reviews contract drafts to ensure they include adequate cost and scope definition and meet Project Controls requirements Coordinates development of all data in support of negotiations Apply all planning and scheduling techniques as appropriate in accordance with the approved Project Controls Execution Plan Ensure that the Project Controls Systems provide the best possible control tools for the supervisory staff on the project to allow them to control their work efficientlyLead the process of capital budget determination and the effective determination of the scope of work accordingly Maintain up-to-date knowledge of planning software and techniques as used on the contract and ensure as well that the staff maintain their skill and knowledgeEnsure that the Department Manager project manager and other stakeholders are aware of any potential threats to completion on schedule and propose remedial actionPrepare internal and client weekly and monthly project status reportsReview of Engineering Consultants schedules and programsDevelop a staffing plan and execution for the project organization to ensure the resource is availablePrepares coordinates and directs Project Controls presentations to client management as required Directs project control activities Develops interprets and executes policy objectives and standards applicable to cost and schedule control and analysis activities Appraise performance of subordinates and identify implement training and development needsEstablish and promote good working relations with his team project staff and the client

Requirements:

Bachler degree on Civil Engineering.Minimum 10 years overall experience in a related filedRegistered engineer with the Saudi Council of EngineersPreferred Certificated Project Management Professional (PMP or Prince 2)Knowledge of computer programs for Planning & Scheduling (Primavera, MS ProjectAdvanced knowledge of computer programs for project management, preferably including Microsoft Project, Primavera, MS office, Power BIAnalyze Projects performance and prepare reports highlighting all the potential risk and issues with project and recommend suitable solutions.Excellent oral, analysis and presentation skills are required in performance of this position.Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and Quality Control procedures.Systematic thinking, Planning and organization skills.Communication, Project management and Problem-solving skills.Fluent in both written and spoken Arabic and English.
