Amazon AWS is seeking a Security Specialist Intern to join the Data Center Security team at a remote site. You will participate in day-to-day physical security operations, coordinate with vendors, analyze data, and help improve surveillance and access controls.

This 12-week full-time internship is designed as a potential pathway to full-time employment, with strong performers considered for full-time roles subject to business needs. You will also write reports and present findings to management.

About the Role

As a Security Specialist Intern, you will work within the Data Center Security team and play a hands-on role in the day-to-day physical security operations of Amazon's data centers. You will collaborate with security vendors, analyze operational data, and help identify improvements to surveillance systems, access controls, and security procedures.

This is not a desk-only role. You will engage directly with the people, systems, and processes that keep Amazon's most critical infrastructure safe.

Internship Structure
