Eram Talent is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanical Engineer to support maintenance activities within an industrial/petrochemical environment. The role focuses on troubleshooting equipment failures, repairs, and reliability improvements to keep plant operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting within an industrial environment.
• Proven experience dealing with equipment failures, repairs, and corrective actions.
• Experience with maintenance planning, work orders, and work packages.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical expert for equipment failures, repairs, and troubleshooting.
• Provide engineering support for plant issues affecting production.
• Evaluate defective equipment and recommend appropriate repair and corrective actions.
• Review repair requirements, including clearances, tolerances, materials of construction, welding procedures, and related technical requirements.
• Develop and maintain appropriate repair techniques and equipment-specific maintenance procedures.
• Support the review and identification of spare parts required for existing equipment.
• Contribute to maintenance strategies and maintenance operating discipline.
• Provide engineering input to projects, particularly regarding equipment maintainability.
• Support the development of maintenance budgets and maintenance plans.
• Provide engineering input to work packages and work orders, particularly for critical equipment.
• Support maintenance teams in troubleshooting and resolving equipment-related issues.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with applicable EH&S, quality, and safety requirements.
• Work closely with maintenance, operations, engineering, and other relevant teams to maintain reliable plant operation.
