Job summary

Hilton in Riyadh is seeking an Order Taker for our Hotels team. You will help ensure cleanliness and quality of linens and textiles, delivering consistent hospitality experiences to guests and colleagues.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining Hilton's high standards of service and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Prior laundry or housekeeping experience
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge of laundry equipment and chemicals

Responsibilities

• Handle team member and guest requests by delegating them to the appropriate individuals and following up to ensure department and hotel standards are met.
• Maintain the computerized Work Order System, including logging and recording all service requests, implementation, distribution, and closure of all work orders.
• Ensure vacant and ready rooms are available to the Front Office through coordination with the Floor Supervisor team.
• Respond to all emergency calls, including monitoring the alarm system.
• Dispatch and direct the appropriate personnel to the location, and notify other departments and the alarm company of the situation.
• Coordinate and control all office traffic.
• Present a positive, professional, and courteous image to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain the brand’s high-quality standards.
• Remain calm and perform all essential functions effectively during emergency situations.
• Maintain control of guest supplies, prepare the required supplies for requisitions, and handle lost and found items.
