The ideal candidate holds a Nursing degree, valid SCFHS, and BLS certification, with prior perioperative experience. You will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
• Valid SCFHS license.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in an operating room or perioperative setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize the operating room and ensure instruments and supplies are ready.
• Assist surgeons and the team during procedures.
• Perform scrub and circulating nurse duties per protocol.
• Maintain aseptic techniques and infection prevention standards.
• Monitor patients pre-, intra-, and postoperatively with teams.
• Document nursing assessments and procedures in patient records.
• Ensure proper cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of equipment.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe surgical care.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and safety concerns.
