Job summary

Confidential in Riyadh seeks a Financial Controller with hands-on Odoo Accounting experience to oversee day-to-day accounting, reporting, and compliance. You will manage GL, AP, AR, and month-end closings within Odoo, ensuring accurate financial statements and timely analyses.

You will coordinate with auditors and authorities while supporting budgeting and cash flow management. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of relevant experience, strong IFRS knowledge for Saudi Arabia, VAT/ZATCA expertise,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience with Odoo Accounting / Odoo ERP.
• Strong knowledge of General Ledger, AP, AR, reconciliations, reporting, and month-end closing.
• Experience with VAT, ZATCA, IFRS in Saudi Arabia.
• Proficient Excel skills and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations using Odoo Accounting.
• Manage General Ledger, AP, AR, journal entries, invoices, payments, and expenses.
• Perform bank, customer, supplier, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Lead monthly and year-end closings and financial reporting.
• Maintain Chart of Accounts and proper Odoo classification.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and analyses.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and receivables/payables.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Ensure VAT and ZATCA compliance and liaise with tax authorities.
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and stakeholders.
