Job summary

ABC Diagnostic and Learning Center in Riyadh is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to assess children, develop individualized OT plans, and discuss results with parents.

You will collaborate with teachers and families, create home-based programs, deliver one-on-one OT sessions, and ensure compliance with CARF standards while utilizing Teams, Zoom, and other tools for planning and communication.

Qualifications

• Assess children using standardized assessments and write comprehensive results.
• Write individualized OT plans and IEPs detailing methods, strategies and evaluation procedures.
• Collaborate with schools and colleagues to design an effective learning environment.
• Provide home-based programs for parents to support learning at home.

Job description

• Perform standardized assessments, write report results and discuss it with parents
• Write an individualized OT plan that targets students' weaknesses. Indicate methods, strategies and evaluation procedure in the IEP.
• Work with a team (collaborate with colleagues) to design, plan and provide an excellent collaborative learning environment.
• Provide home based programs for parents to support their children in the learning process.
• Provide one on one OT therapy lessons using effective strategies.
• Ensure therapy area is kept clean and safe prior to and following sessions by ensuring materials are put back in their original locations.
• Monthly reports and planned IEPs to be submitted to parent's on time.
• Communicate with parents on a daily basis through the communication book. Provide daily feedback and tips to be reinforced at home.
• Collaborate with schools and meet with teachers to provide accommodations and modifications for students.
• Abide by all CARF standards
• Use of technology (Microsoft Teams, Emails, Planner, One drive, Zoom, etc..)
• Abide by all instructions and guidelines issued by the employer that are in the best interests of the center and its policies as dictated by the employer alone.
