Job summary

Fakeeh Care Group is seeking a Neurophysiology Technician to perform long-term video EEG monitoring, bedside EEGs, Nerve Conduction Tests, and evoked potential studies, including VEP and SSEP.

The role involves assisting neurology doctors with EMG/NCV/VEP procedures, documenting reports, scheduling PSG, EEG, and related tests, and ensuring equipment maintenance in collaboration with biomedical staff. English and Arabic are preferred, with relevant licenses required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years as Neurophysiology Technician or EEG/NCV/EP with documented proficiency.
• For Senior role, minimum 5 years in the same field with demonstrated competency.
• English and Arabic preferred; license to practice per regional health authority (SCFHS/DHA).

Responsibilities

• Performs long-term video EEG monitoring.
• Performs bedside EEG recordings.
• Carries out Nerve Conduction Test.
• Conducts evoked potential testing, visual and Somatosensory.
• Assists Neurology Doctors to perform EMG, NCV and VEP.
• Types and fills reports of each patient.
• Arranges appointments for PSG, PAP Titration, EEG, EMG‑NCV and VEP.
• Performs routine equipment care, maintenance and inventory evaluation in collaboration with biomedical.
• Reports safety or operational concerns to chairperson of Neurosciences.
• Educates patients and their families about health conditions, treatments and preventative measures.
