Job summary

Abunayyan Holding is seeking an experienced Network Infrastructure Manager to lead the administration and deployment of the enterprise network, data, voice, and security services. Responsibilities include planning, implementing, monitoring, and documenting network infrastructure, as well as supporting DR/BC and audit activities.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering with 5+ years of hands-on experience and relevant certifications (CCNP/CCIE/Avaya).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience administering and managing Enterprise Network implementations.
• Relevant certifications (preferably CCNP, CCIE, Avaya).
• Certification or courses on Next-Gen security firewalls and CCSP would be value-added.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, implement and deploy enterprise-wide secured and scalable network infrastructure and services.
• Monitor the enterprise-wide network infrastructure and services; gather statistics for continuity and capacity planning.
• Ensure availability and continuity of operations of enterprise network infrastructure.
• Provide technical assistance to networks, systems & security administrators.
• Develop documentation and record configurations (logical/physical).
• Lead/supervise Network Administrators and assist Head of Networks & Infrastructure on major projects.
• Promote a high-performance environment and adherence to policies; monitor service desk performance.
• Develop and maintain a disaster recovery plan and perform drill tests.

Job description

Responsible for Management of entire Enterprise Network Infrastructure including data, voice communication and security along with monitoring & control activities to ensure reliability, stability and security of networks infrastructure and continuity of related services; and management of assigned project(s)

Key Accountabilities

1- Operation Management

• Planning, designing, implementing and deploying of enterprise-wide secured and scalable network & communication infrastructure and services in consultation with Head of Networks & Infrastructure
• Monitoring the enterprise-wide network & communication infrastructure and services; generate & gather network statistics of relevant domains for effectively maintaining continuity of operations, safeguard against possible vulnerabilities and capacity planning of the same
• Ensuring availability and continuity of operations of enterprise network infrastructure.
• Providing technical assistance to networks, systems & security administrators.
• Developing necessary documentation w.r.t. his / her job domain and record the configurations (i.e. logical / physical).

2- Preventive Maintenance & Compliance

• Planning and executing periodic preventive maintenance activities related to concerned domains
• Ensuring that the routine / ad-hoc preventive maintenance activities of concerned domains are timely performed in-line with the governing standards.
• Ensuring effective life cycle management of admin profiles for relevant domains
• Ensuring effective patch management process for relevant domain.
• Scheduling periodic audits of network devices / appliances / servers audits within the enterprise for relevant domains including coordination for internal and external audits
• Adhering to licenses compliance (Hard/Soft) of concerned domains
• Complying with and implementing applicable policies / procedures including enforced Information Systems Security Policy

3- Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity

• Developing, documenting, implementing and maintaining a disaster recovery plan for enterprise networks infrastructure
• Responsible for the backup management process which includes backup through different modes for devices and appliances, restoration activities of his/her concerned domains.
• Performing services restoration activities in the event of a disaster at out-rage in his/her concerned domains, perform Root-Cause-Analysis (RCA) of all relevant problems, incident and errors; and ensure deployment of permanent fixes
• Carrying out periodic and planned drill tests for his/her concern domains and document results

4- People, Project & Initiative Management

• Leading / supervising the team of Network Administrators including work scheduling, prioritizing, monitoring and providing the technical assistance for the assigned project(s)
• Assisting the Head of Networks & Infrastructure in carrying out project management activities for major projects and initiatives
• Managing, guiding and assisting direct reports to perform their functional operations in accordance with set policies and procedures
• Promoting a high-performance working environment and AHC's values

5- Service Desk

• Reviewing the helpdesk system statistics of the performance of the concerned ICT Staff
• Closely monitoring the users’ complaints/problems/errors and providing timely resolutions of assigned SD tickets
