Job summary

Yokogawa is seeking engineers to join a global team delivering advanced engineering solutions. You will design, test and implement engineering concepts, specify standards, inspect installations, and manage contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.

You will also drive improvements, support knowledge sharing, and develop products or solutions aligned with customer needs. A structured development path and external accreditation may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent level.
• Experience unsupervised 13 months to 3 years.
• Managerial experience very limited (0–3 months).

Responsibilities

• Engineering Solutions Design: develop and test feasibility of engineering solutions.
• Engineering Standards Specification: support drafting standards and evaluate effectiveness.
• Engineering Inspections: assess quality of works and advise remedial actions.
• Contract Management: coordinate subcontractors and suppliers per the contract plan.
• Improvement/Innovation: identify shortfalls and address them via change programs.
• Knowledge Management System: support others with knowledge systems guidance.
• Product and/or Solution Development: analyze customer needs and deliver products/services.

Responsibilities

• Engineering Solutions Design
  Contribute to the development of and implement feasibility testing of proposed engineering solutions to provide feedback and data to validate the design.
• Engineering Standards Specification
  Carry out a range of activities under the guidance of more senior colleagues to support the drafting of engineering standards and specifications and the evaluation of the effectiveness of those standards.
• Engineering Inspections
  Carry out inspections under the supervision of senior colleagues to evaluate the quality of engineering works and/or the integrity of existing installations or structures, and make recommendations to senior colleagues on the remedial works needed to ensure conformance with specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Contract Management
  Deliver required outcomes by coordinating activities of subcontractors and suppliers and acting as a primary point of contact for them while working within an established contract management plan.
• Improvement/Innovation
  Identify shortcomings in existing processes, systems and procedures, and use established change management programs to address them.
• Knowledge Management System
  Help others get the most out of knowledge management systems by offering support and advice.
