Job summary

NTU International is preparing a proposal for a project titled “Communication outreach and engagement on EU policies in North Africa, the Middle East and the Gulf”. They are establishing a pool of qualified Non-Key Experts (Senior and Junior) to be mobilised on a short-term, on-demand basis during project implementation (36 months).

Experts will contribute translation, interpretation and multilingual communications support to DG MENA, helping to strengthen visibility and impact of EU policy

Qualifications

• Degree in translation/interpretation or equivalent qualification.
• Native/near-native proficiency in target language, fluent English source.
• 2 years' general experience in translation/interpretation; 1 year specific experience with communication/institutional content.

Responsibilities

• Translating communication materials, reports, publications, presentations and other institutional documents.
• Providing interpretation services during meetings, workshops, conferences, webinars and stakeholder consultations.
• Ensuring linguistic accuracy, consistency and cultural appropriateness of translated content.
• Supporting the preparation and review of multilingual communication materials.
• Collaborating with communication teams to ensure clear and effective messaging across target audiences.
• Assisting with terminology management and maintaining consistency across project documentation.
• Supporting multilingual communication during project events and outreach activities.
