Safari Group seeks an experienced sports coach to lead diverse coaching sessions, design schedules, and organize tournaments for residents and clients. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork and customer service within a dynamic recreational environment.

The candidate should have a high school diploma, a sports-related diploma/certificate, and ideally a B.Ed. in Physical Education, with at least five years of relevant coaching experience across multiple sports.

Responsabilités

• Plan and conduct coaching sessions for various sports.
• Teach sports rules, techniques, skills and strategies according to participants’ ages and abilities.
• Develop weekly and monthly sports activity schedules in coordination with Recreation Services management.
• Organize and coordinate sports tournaments, leagues and recreational events.
• Promote participation, teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline and healthy lifestyles among residents and community members.
• Ensure safe use of facilities and equipment; report hazards or injuries.
• Inspect and maintain equipment; report damaged items.
• Prepare and inspect courts, fields and recreational areas before/after activities.
• Maintain attendance records and participation statistics for programs.
• Provide professional customer service and foster an inclusive recreational environment.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other departments to ensure effective service delivery.
• Comply with company policies and health, safety, and operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct coaching sessions for various sports including football basketball volleyball badminton tennis table tennis and other recreational activities.
• Teach sports rules techniques skills and strategies according to participants ages abilities and skill levels.
• Develop weekly and monthly sports activity schedules in coordination with the Recreation Services management team.
• Organize and coordinate sports tournaments competitions leagues and recreational events based on client requirements.
• Promote participation teamwork sportsmanship discipline and healthy lifestyles among residents and community members.
• Ensure the safe use of sports facilities and equipment comply with safety procedures and promptly report hazards incidents or injuries.
• Inspect maintain and properly store sports equipment reporting any damaged or missing items.
• Prepare and inspect sports courts playing fields and recreational areas before and after activities.
• Maintain accurate attendance records activity schedules participation statistics and reports on sports programs and events.
• Provide professional customer service and support to residents participants and clients while fostering a friendly inclusive and engaging recreational environment.
• Coordinate with supervisors recreation staff and other departments to ensure the effective delivery of sports and recreational services.
• Comply with company policies client requirements and applicable health safety and operational procedures.

Education & Qualifications

• Education: A High School Diploma is mandatory, along with a diploma or certificate in Sports or a related field. A college degree in Physical Education is preferred.
• Work Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience in sports coaching, sports activities, or recreational services.
• Sports Expertise: Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience in coaching multiple sports and conducting recreational activities.
• Communication Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with participants of different ages and skill levels.
• Planning and Organization: Ability to plan sports activities, organize events, manage schedules, and maintain accurate records.
• Safety Awareness: Knowledge of sports safety procedures, equipment handling, and basic risk management.
• Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with management, colleagues, and other departments.
• Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills and a professional, friendly, and inclusive approach to engaging with residents and participants.
