Job summary

Flip retail is seeking an Operations & Maintenance Engineer (MEP) to lead full MEP management, supervision, and upkeep for new and existing projects. The role covers HVAC, pumping, fire fighting, and piping systems from initiation to closure, with responsibilities for safety, compliance, and efficiency.

The candidate should have a mechanical engineering degree, 10+ years in construction and maintenance of MEP systems, and strong troubleshooting and coordination skills across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Extensive knowledge of PPM, troubleshooting, and malfunction analysis.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle MEP designs and project handover from initiation to closure.
• Manage all phases of MEP disciplines and supervise specialists.
• Ensure facilities operate safely and in compliance with laws.
• Troubleshoot and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related MEP systems.
• Ensure certificates of conformity are kept up to date.
• Review contractor's installation and method statements.
• Track ongoing electrical and mechanical service issues.
• Assist in project procurement and contractor coordination.
• Review and approve professionals' procedures and maintenance handbooks.
