Job summary

Uasmart in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Mechanical Draftsman to join our team. The role requires 6+ years of MEP drafting, strong AutoCAD skills, and the ability to produce MEP layouts, shop drawings, and coordination drawings for construction projects.

You will work with architectural, structural, civil, and site teams to resolve clashes, ensure compliance with standards, and support ongoing project documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience as a Mechanical Draftsman.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and MEP drafting.
• Experience preparing HVAC drawings.
• Experience preparing plumbing and drainage drawings.
• Understanding of electrical and other MEP drawings.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and project specifications.
• Knowledge of MEP coordination and shop drawing preparation.
• Strong attention to detail and drawing accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Candidates must be currently available in Saudi Arabia.
• Immediate joiners are highly preferred.
• Relevant MEP drafting experience is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed MEP drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop mechanical, electrical, and plumbing layouts.
• Prepare shop drawings and as-built drawings.
• Prepare MEP coordination drawings.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project design requirements.
• Coordinate MEP services with architectural, structural, and civil drawings.
• Identify and resolve drawing discrepancies and clashes.
• Support engineers and site teams with technical drawings and revisions.
• Maintain drawing accuracy and project documentation standards.
• Ensure drawings comply with project requirements and applicable standards.
• Coordinate drawing revisions with engineering and site teams.
• Maintain organized technical drawing records.
