GEA Grade in Medina seeks an experienced welder foreman to lead pipework fabrication and welding operations on site. You will read mechanical and as-built drawings, perform MIG/TIG with argon, and ensure strict safety compliance.

The role requires 5 years mechanical experience, 3 years supervisory, a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, and a valid welding certification. GCC experience is preferred. You will mentor junior welders and coordinate with foremen on projects.

Qualificações

• Reads mechanical and as-built drawings accurately.
• Performs MIG/TIG welding with argon protection.
• Conducts pipe preparation: cleaning, cutting, joining, chamfering, fabrication.
• Adheres to health and safety policies on site.

• Supervises direct reports and coordinates a small welding team.
• Provides hands-on welding experience with pipework.
• Ensures quality and safety standards on all fabrication tasks.
• Guides juniors and enforces discipline on site.

• Able to read understand mechanical drawings and as built drawings
• Able to do all welding works stages and prefabrication works for steel and stainless-steel material in a professional way as an Argon welder MIG and TIG
• Able to do all preparation works related to the welding process including pipe preparation pipe cleaning positioning cutting joining chamfering and fabrication
• Able to implement health and safety policies in his trade
• Past and preferable working experience in oil and gas industry
• Specific experience in refrigeration industry desirable but not a requirement
• Valid Certification as welder from reputed recognized organization
• Able to supervise direct and work with small team of welders
• Candidate must have hands-on welding experience specifically pipework
• Candidate must have some supervisory foreman experience can be small or large teams
• Good conduct at site to an example to junior welders and to follow the orders of his superiors
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of mechanical related experience
• 3 years of supervisory experience
• Knowledge of the tools, equipment, and materials common to mechanical trade
• Must be certified TIG and / or 6G welder
• Knowledge of supervisory principles, practices, and techniques
• GCC experience in industrial field preferably
