Job summary

Asmacs Contracting Est. seeks a senior mechanical design lead to steer complex systems from concept through manufacturing and after-sales support. You will validate designs with FEA/CFD simulations and mentor junior engineers to foster innovation and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering with 7–10 years of progressive design experience and strong CAD/simulation skills across SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD, ANSYS, or COMSOL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 7-10 years of progressive experience in mechanical design and development.
• Proven CAD proficiency and simulation experience in relevant tools.
• Experience in automotive, aerospace, medical devices, or consumer electronics.

Lead the design and development of complex mechanical systems ensuring adherence to project specifications and performance targets. Oversee the entire product lifecycle from conceptualization and prototyping to manufacturing and post-launch support. Conduct rigorous analysis and simulations e g FEA CFD to validate designs and optimize performance, reliability and cost-effectiveness. Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in mechanical design and development.
• Proven expertise in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL).
